While AU, and there are possibilities for extra family members related to canons in the books, make sure to ask staff before you go ahead with it. Things like a child of Sirius Black is 100% allowed, but something like an additional sibling of the Blacks might not quite be as allowed (given the Blacks are very well established). However, a sibling of say, Marlene McKinnon, or McGonagall or others we don't know quite as well backstory wise and family wise, is totally fine.

No mary/gary sues. This mean no perfect characters. No one always wins. No one gets all the friends and have no enemies whatsoever. On the same note, if a character doesn't like your character, its not personal in an OOC sense.

Make sure to stay as canon to the plot as possible. There are things that will have changed since, but mostly its that the Potters never died and Voldemort was killed forever in the beginning of 1980. If you're worried about something going against canon, just ask!

Powers are allowed, like werewolf and metamorphagus and such. Just make sure its mentioned in the app very clearly. There may eventually be bans on certain types of characters (perhaps based on powers they have, or their house, or things like that).
