Quickly, she had made her way back to hers and Severus' quarters, not wanting him to worry about her. As usual, Remus got her brain on the right track. Time, that's all her children needed, and she needed to pull the reigns on the mothering. She felt extremely guilty for the way she had been treating her children. They had really grown up and she was grasping at straws.

They were her first born after all. The ones that she would always be most worried about. Wanting to be perfect for.

But they didn't need that. They just needed their mother to chill.

All right, chill it would be. But she had one... small... tiny thing she had to bring up with her husband.

She busted back into their quarters, breathing heavily. Even with taking the Marauders Corridors (that's what she dubbed the short cuts); and moving quickly it still took quite a bit to get back to Severus.
